Have you seen this Civic? - Scarborough Shootings...

Now, my second question is...
I wonder if the police are actually reading this thread... because it's got a plethora of information about the car at least.
I mean if my kid was murdered, I would hope they would at least do their homework about the getaway car that witnesses saw... and not just aimlessly ask for a 95-96 Civic. A 95 looks quite different from a 96, nor did they really mention if it was a hatch or coupe. Do they really mean a 92-00 Civic? That makes things a LOT more broad.
If it was a stock dark green, then you can successfully deduce it was a 96-00. But considering it had a "light interior" (does this mean, not grey and not black? my interior is grey, and I wouldn't call it "light") and a custom exhaust, I guess you can't assume anything is stock about the car.
Either way, if it were my kid that was killed, I'd be really disappointed in the investigative work behind the "95-96" Civic claim. It sounds like they could have narrowed it down to quite a bit more detail if they'd consulted even the people here at TCC.
I mean, it's a free, widely used, very accessable resource. Why would a first-class investigative body like the police pass up utilizing it to its fullest extent?
I bet if they laid out ALL the information they had about the car in a thread on the forum, people hear could provide some useful info... maybe even narrow it down to a range of VINs.
whatever...
maybe they are putting more work into this than I think, but for some reason I feel really frustrated but what strikes me as a blatant display of incompetance.
