headaches from not smoking

to the people who quit smoking in the past... did you get a headache that lasted a few days?

it has been about 12 days now since i have touched a cigarette... i was only grumpy for the first few days... then i got really sick... i was perfectly fine for a few days... now the last three days.. i have had this headache... from the base of my skull.. it has been worse each day and it feels like it is wrapping around my brain.

the pain increases when i shake or move my head quickly...

i am not using any patch or nictone gum or anything. i'm wondering if it's from wirthdrawl.

anyone had anything similair?

getting drunk seems to help, but i don't want to do that a lot either.

i could see it as an effect from withdrawl, i never had the headaches but i did have a once continous cold for about 4 months, which i though was rediculous so i just started smaoking again...soon as i did the cold went away, also during that quiting period i had pink eye and and ear infection....yeah it sucked.

right now i've cut down on smoking a lot, i want to get to the point where i can still smoke if i want to but just not all the time, don't know if its possible but i'll try

J, it's possible, but you have to get fully unaddicted first... takes 3 months to leave your blood.

it's retarded, eh? i want to be a non-smoker regularly, but on vacations, i plan on smoking. in cuba, you're stupid if you don't smoke. haha

Just smoke cigars, then you wont inhale. Smoking on vacations is fun, though. Doing things on vacations that you don't normally do is always makes it a better time.

Nick, if you were never born, you would never die. if you never leave the house, you will never get into a car accident.

what's your point?

some people make such statements because they wish they had the ability to make the decision to enjoy something more in life.

house cats live much longer than cats that get to run around free at night.. but what would you rather be?
