Help...counter Strike

I was wondering if anyone knew where you can download the update file to be able to play Counter Strike..
I have CS1.5 and i think they are only running 1.6 now
is there a place to download this update?

ya that game is old school.... i'll be pimpin doom3 in a week when i get my new comp built

the sad thing is that i dont even like first person shooters but i'd play it just cause i can

Its a great game. I havent been playing much due to the whole steam stuff. I just dont like how to connect through steam and such. And for some reason I lag up even though i have a fast comp. I need to fix something in this comp for sure.

u wanna go to www.steampowered.com u can download steam there it will download cs for u, all u need is a valid cd key or steam account which u will get from ur cd key if u havnt already. if u need ne help let me know n if u want a server to play on wit like 30 ping

Counter Strike is a lame, boring, ****ty rip off of Action Quake 2 which will always be the #1 online deathmatch/teamplay game EVER.

That vid is so funny. It is so true everyone hells because someone is better and yet they think they are hacking... And the ending of the vid, I didn't like it too much, the whole goign to school killing classmates, a little over kill on that. I hope who ever created that vid doesnt do it.

CS = crap. I prefer Hostile Intent. much more realistic and less whiny little kids being stupid. Also its the first mod to hack the HL engine to improve graphics. Like bumpmapping and a neat function called glow which VASTLY improves graphics, but you need a beast of a computer to run it smooth.
