help with my laptop

Hello all!
I recently fried my AC adapter for my IBM Thinkpad laptop. (770) I was wondering if anyone else had one so I could test out if that was all that was fried (not the actual computer) before I spend 100+ dollars ordering one. If you guys meet at a timmies and they are kind enought to have an outlet in the general area or you are from around here that would be great! Legacy 73 could bring it to the meet or I could meet you if you live around here! THanks

Thanks, do you know who legacy 73 is (just so you guys will be able to find eachother)? he drives the 95 white eg, with trim and wipers etc. in blue.

I will bring the cable and I am sure I will hook up with Legacy.

I sold my IBM thinkpad 600 a few months ago and I have a spare AC adapter for it. I believe it's the same adapter for most, if not all the IBM thinkpads. If you are interested, I can let you have it for $75. Let me know.

all you helpful people

thanks you guys are great! If anyone has one they can bring it to the meet (if they are going), if you live in the whitby area we may be able to meet up to test it, and as for those with ones for sale that work when tested I'll take the best price! This is a great group to come together and help someone with a non car related problem! Thanks! Kari

sorry had a brain cramp last week....bringing the charger for sure today...legacy73 will you be there and bringing the laptop?

The charger is already in my trunk
