help needed please
well the thing is i've decided to get a new car. the
problem is what car should i get. i'm looking for something
sporty and yet classy. i would prefer leathers and what not.
my price range is around 15000 or so. my first choice was a 300zx
but i'm not sure about that just yet. the car should also be fairly
cheap on insurance and economical. if such a car exists please let me know. thanks.
p.s. and if anybody is selling their car that fits the description please let me know. thanks/

ppl who drive classy sports cars don't care about economy and cheap insurance... as such, a car like that does not exist.
so which do you care more about, classy and sporty OR economical and cheap to insure?

well i like the a4. and ye it is to drive all year. as for sporty/classy vs economical, i'd probably prefer economical. i was also lookig at the acura 1.6 el which is fairly economical and has some sportyness to it. i still don't know.

hahah 300ZX? sorry but are you NUTS?!? You might as well just throw your money in the gutter if u buy a 90+ 300zx... One problem and it'll cost you serious money to fix that car. Trust me, the 300zx is not even remotely worth it!

I had a 300ZX turbo years ago... money pit, and no one knew a god damned thing about them at the time. I was maybe 16 or 17 years old, so I needed guidance. I could prolly do pretty well with one now though.

if you get a 300zx your insurance will go up.
it is a sports car 2 door and high on maintence, for the money you should get somthing a little more relible, like a acura or toyota
or HONDA CIVIC
shop around and ask allot of questions, especialy if buying used and make sure the seller provides the used viechle package, so you can see how many owners and if there are any accidents, and bring a small magnet with you to check for bady work.
do your homework but i think going new would soot you better. i have 4 cars and 3 where used and dumped tones of cash into these for certi and emisions and in the long run its not worth it.

i think for u the best choice would be
acura 1.6 el premium 5spd.
its sporty cuz its got the si motor in it with vtec ofcourse.
its got leather
heated seats
perfect pricing
great aftermarket support
unique car cuz states doesnt have it
not a money pit cuz its pretty reliable
not too high on insurance at all
so u got class and u got speed at the same time and oh yea did i mention u can modify that car soooo super easily.

grego9198 the major faults on these cars are electrical in nature, and as such hard to diagnose and track down. I had boost problems, sometimes too much, sometimes none And there is a lack of knowledge about these cars, so if you do get one, be sure to pick up a FSM to service it yourself.
chileno1984, I have a suggestion for you that I would think to be the perfect solution, BUT I warn you that you WILL NEED mechnical knowledge OR allow extra budget for repairs on this particular choice. But note... it DOES fulfill your criteria perfectly
VW Jetta GLS TDI w/ leather and sunroof.
now, some of you may laugh that I'd recommend a TDI, but the fact is that they are economical, cheap to insure, and can dust a VR6 car with only minor mods easily! And they are in your price range, AND they are really solid cars. Now here is the kicker... they have a tendency to break down.... a lot. So I'm telling you if you can fix a car yourself, this is the purchase you should make. If not, expect to pay out the *** for dealer service where not even THEIR mechanics know WTF they are doing, cuz they are not trained for diesel work.
