I don't think anyone here is connoiseur enough to claim that the only right way to drink cognac would be straight up out of decanter. Let the man mix his drink if he wishes. People do odd things. (Even though I am contradicting my beliefs cuz anyone that mixes single malt whisky should be shot! HAHAHA).....anyway,

Try it on the rocks with 2 parts hennessey and 1 part Remy Red. I drink Courvoisier with Remy Red so it may work for you.

who drinks out of a decanter? thats what you pour the alcohol from mate...u must be an alcoholic if drink it straight out of the decanter, hope its a crystal

Ha Ha, I just re-read my post, straight out of a decanter! I didn't mean that.....geez. From a decanter into a nice crystal snifter like you said.
