Need bulbs, ballasts, and a way to stuff them into the Civic headlights...then some shields to direct light into the Civic reflector, and that's it. One can only hope to make a low-beam kit and do away with high beams...I think the hardest part is making them fit into Civic housings w/o having to cut anything on the housing. And then tuning the beam via shields. I've seen Toyota trucks with Lexus HIDs but they cut the light housing and epoxied on a portion of the Lexus headlight housing.

Hey guys, I know I rarely give my opinion on here...(I usually only frequent the classifieds!!!!!)....But having researched a lot about HIDs and getting my own set........

Those pics are completely edited!!!! No way does a 4300k kit look like that!....All OEM kits have a light temperature of 4300k. My 4300k kit has a slight yellow tint..but no where near as its shown in the pics.

The light output on the ground is pure white, almost like daylight. Whether the bulbs are in the civic housing or an integra projector, a 4300k kit will not produce a yellow light like those pics!!...Even the "bluer" pics arent showing the realism...

It is true tho that the higher you go in light temperature the colour gets "cooler". But 4300k produces the most lumens, which is the usable light. And which is why OEM cars like Audi's and the S2000 use them. Anything higher than 6000k produces less light output but will still be far superior to halogens!!!
If I would do it over, I would get a 5800-6000k kit just for its "bluish" colour!!! The blue colour you see in Audi's and the s2000 are from the light optics produced by its projectors...
