i have one too its a yokomo touring car, i used to race it a while back at an indoor carpet track in scarborough. its alot of fun at the track but it's very difficult to compete to those guys at the track, it's pretty much there life.

where did everyone get their cars from?

This sounds cool, I never though you could trick out an RC car... I was wondering where everyone got their cars from? How much average would a good car cost? Is gas motor better than electric or the other way around? Anyways thanks...

Talking

well i had rc's since i was 13 yrs old, i would say fun wise i would rather get gas beacuse it sounds crazy and when you push it, it sounds sick and it's much faster than an electric and if you want to go away its very potable and for electric you have to wait a half an hour for a decent charge and then its gone in 5 minutes but gas cars last like 10 15 minutes, but gas cars break alot more times than electric b/c electric you just plug the battery and its guarnteed to work, but gas most of the time you have to keep changing the glow plug and sometimes it won't start on you. my opinion is to grab a gas car it's more fun, but thats my opinion, cash wise a dcent gas car is around $400 without radio and gas, radio and gas=180 for a decent radio, for electric after a kit, speedcontrol, motor and radio it wont cost around $500, this is all brand new equipment

i did see stock zc's kill sir's and gsr's with a little bit of work to them, so i wouldn't say there crap if there killing $30,000 cars.plus my budy had one in his car for a year now and it didn't give him any problems yet, they run very well. for the yokomo touring car they go for around $5-$600, maybe even more for top of the line equipment to be competetive.

What clutch fits in the ZC tranny?

What drive shafts fit the ZC tranny?

What ECU will work with the ZC?

wait let me re-fraze that

What ECU will not throw a Code with the ZC.

the harnes is easy but who knows how to wire the cam Senser so it will work?

now i didn't start this as a pissing match over the ZC motor
it's just My opinion there crap

I had one
I built one
I raced one
I didn't like it

Yeah, your ZC was a piece of crap ....j/p

cluster has been through major **** trying to get that ZC to perform...

the ZC is a good motor, but it would be less stressful going with a b16a1, they are not much more expensive than a ZC anyways.
