Hobby Show

Anyone going or have gone to it yet? I'm checking it out today at 3pm. Should be decent, they have a test track going on and stuff, I gotta get myself a few parts, maybe a mini-z to run at boys toys on friday nights or something. I'll post up my review later tonight.

Well I went came back 30 mins ago, basically the same things to do as every year, the deals are really good tho, I picked up a proline jetta body for 20 bucks no tax and a Tmaxx escalade body for 32 taxes in. They have real good prices going on kits, 510 for the T-maxx and a lil more for the Savage SS. Go if you wanna buy stuff, if your not...it's alright, the Lego display was crazy and all the R/C booths had R/C mini helicopter flying lol

The show was not bad, there were many good shops that didn't attend the show which is crap like pinnacle, johns trains and A&J hobbies. I also picked up the jetta body for $20, good deal

Went to the show on Sat, it wasn't too bad, there were tons of great deals. Got me a Nitro TC3 for $360 reg $460, Mugen MT12 for $200 reg $280, and a AE starter for $80 reg $110.

Greg did you check out HOBBY HOBBY's area? They were selling a Serpent Impalse for only $199!!! or the MTX2 w/MT12 engine for only $500, and there where a whole bunch of other things they were trying to ger rid of.

Ya the Hobby show isn't like what it used to be. Now its been taken over by too many arts and crafts for seniors.

So I missed out, eh? Well, that's okay my priorities changed a little now... I don't think I NEED a nitro car, but I do NEED to pay off my CC debt.

Yea freaking Hobby Hobby had crazy deals, I was going to buy a micro rs4 for 140 bucks, but then I wouldnt have enough money for the T-maxx engine swap lol. I think I can trade in my old Pro15 engine to get the new 2.5 engine at Hobby Hobby for 130 bucks. If I can I'm gonna swap. If not I'll prolly just get the Megatech Engine. Do you guys know what I can use to get glue off the inside of a body? I used bad tape and its glue

Did you guys see the lego setup? Makes me want to get a Lego train set lol.

How did you get glue on the inside of the body?? Try go gone, I use it to take away 2 way tape which is a bitch to take off the chassis, maybe it will work for the body also. I never saw the impulse for only $200, thats pretty good. Hobby hobby was the only good shop in that whole building and they usually have the lowest prices exclusing the 3 shops I mentoned above which didn't attent so im sure they were having a fun weekend and sold a lot of crap out there.

Did you guys see that booth where they were advertising the release and opening of the new indoor dirt offroading track in woodbridge. Right around the corner from me, i've been looking for an offroad track for over 5 years now so im quite happy to hear about it which is why I didn't grab a new r/c too. Gotta fix up my offroad a bit and hit the track when it open. Only 2 weeks, can't wait to check it out
