Hospital ...again
So tonight I'm at work and I'm coming down the stairs. I black out and next thing you know I'm at the bottom of the stairs and can't move. They call an ambulance and whatnot and send me to the hospital for x rays and whatnot. I can't walk or feel my legs and they think I have a pretty serious back injury. This really sucks. I have to wait until tomorrow to see the outcome of the xrays and whatnot but thought I would say hello and I'm bored... gonna be here for a while.
I told the doctor I was going to Oakville tomorrow night to Matts house and he looked at me like this
. Does that mean I can't go? lol
I'll keep you guys posted cause I know you all care!

nope. my legs hurt so bad that I can't feel them. There is swelling in my back so they gave me some injections and what not for pain and pills... plenty of pills. But nothing is working. I still feel pain... A LOT

I've had an ongoing condition for a while. (i posted before about it when I was first diagnosed). My heart skips a beat every once in a while and tells my body to shut down. So I spontaneously pass out. Doesn't last long...but if I have another one it can become more serious and I could lose my liscence. This is the first one in like 5 months... I was doing so good.

Well it really sucks that you collasped like that...
But... it is a good thing your legs hurt... mean your spinal cord is still in one piece...
Take it one day at a time SurfofPink... were you still working those crazy hours that you were awhile ago>?

so sorry to hear kathryn... I hope everything goes well... like jason said, pain is good.. it means your body is "working" ... keep us posted, and ya, get plenty of rest.. and Matt, you better pamper her to death now

well I woke up today and the pain is MUCH worse than yesterday. Still can't walk and the pain in my back is enough to make you want to die. Doctors said my ex rays came back and it doesn't look good. They are going to come back and show them to me at 12pm after they dicuss a possible treatment plan for recovering. Who knows what that means. I think they are going to put me on IV drugs in 2 hours cause I've passed out once from the pain already and the doctors can't risk having me in and out of conciousness because I could possibly injure myself further if I don't stay exactly in one place.
Well Matt looks like I'm going no where for a while so if you want to come visit me you can...

coudl have broke yoru back..hair line fracture...but with back injuries your heart will skip beats and such it really effects your whole body...I got a muscle spasm in my back not to long ago and was basically paralised with pain for 2 day's.
