Hot Wheels WW Si

hey have any of u guys ever modified your own hot wheels
well someone bought me a HotWheels Wings West Honda Civic Si.... it's not the big scale ones... they're the small ones
anyways... I decide to take it apart.... and guess what I found
I was supprised in the detail they put in that tiny thing...
there's 2 amps.. a sub with 3 speakers in the back seat....
a roll cage ... 2 racing seats , a nos bottle... the centre arm console, parking brake, shifter and the front dash and console...
dam... they put so much detail in that tiny little car but u can't see them since they're all black..
anyways.... I decided to paint all the interior and mod the exterior to make it look just like my car
I'll post pics after I'm done.....
if any of u have done or tried this please let me know coz it's soo cool...... dam and they sell those cars for $1-2$ @ wallmart...

There's a bunch of sites out there for modding these. Just do a search for them on google. I want to paint mine white to match the one in my driveway.

I'm not talking about the one that everyone is painting....
I'm talking about the small version .... the ones that are 1" x 2.5" x 0.75" in size

Actually plaz on the board has become heavy into this since he started working at toyota a few years back.....crazy how people will buy unopened boxes of the same car for collecting purposes.
Funny how as we get older the young boy in all of us comes out more.
I'm planning to buy a power wheels for my kid....dam always wanted one of those when I was younger....actually I wanted a big wheel more buy anyways

^^ AGREED

I started getting into this hot wheels thing about a year ago, and i think thier pretty cool for about a buck each, I have about 50 cars now, havn't started modding them though... except for a mustang that I smashed with a hammer and lit on fire (with lighter fluid) just for fun to make it look like it was in an accident.

They have the WW Civics in Blue, Black and Red

one of my favs right now is the SKYLINE (hard to find), I have about 14 different ferrari's, and the mini F1 cars are so cool

Fun cheap hobby

my 0.02

Its true, I've slowly started a collection of die cast cars over the past year as well. So far I have the two larger Hotwheels WW Civic Si's (red and green), the WW Ford Focus, and a smaller SiR, ITR, and S2000. There are still alot more out there that I have to buy as well.

I've got 32 1:18 scale model cars. I love them all i've got everything from a Hummer to a Civic.

I wish they made the P5....i know they never will. Mind you they make a 1:18 of 2002 Celica Gt.

Just wondering where did you get the Green Civic Si and how much did you pay for it?

Looks sweet ROY. I have 3 unopened red HW civics an unopened one from McDonalds, 3 of the new blue ones and the 1/18 red one and I am looking for the new green one.
They also have one that is a stolen car. It is damaged and comes with a full insurance and police report. I want it but can't find it anywhere.
