Sorry to hear about your loss.
I owned 2 dogs my self both being pitbulls and I can tell you this I know how you feel but what you have to understand is that its not the drivers fault its the dog/walkers fault simply because the leash was not enough to keep her down. My first pitbull was full out grown and I was still able to keep her down without making her budge when i had my leash on her because it was specifically made for pitbull breeds (large breeds). What you also have to understand is the driver trying to avoid your dog could have caused more accidents and more damage. simply but the "needs of the many out weight the needs of the few" or in this case one. Stuff like this happens in a matter of seconds that being said it is near impossible for the average driver to first annalyze the situation, then make appropriate changes and still be able to look around her surroundings to make sure her changes are safe enough for everyone around her.

Yes! TRUE JAY!
But she should have stopped afterwards. I hope she feels so bad, and that she lives with it forever.
Not that it would matter she ovbiously doesn't have much of a brain/conscience anyways!

for me it was rough but for me it wasnt because my dog died or anything its because i had to give them up because of my neighbours being scared that its a pit and that they have small children.

"it was a side street...and she shouldn't have bin speeding..she was goin almost twice the legal limit....and there was no1 around her.."
that's all fine and dandy, but the bottom line is your dog shouldn't have been running lose, whether it was an accident or not
"well c..i am a person that lives on revenge..i will not sleep untel i know somethign has happend 2 this ****en lady..either 1 of her kids die..or her.. i will not feel no petty for her.... so i hope her kids get run over by a speeding truck ..and left on the road for dead..."
and that's just a stupid comment, maybe you should read it again, cause if you bring this problem down to the basics, it really is the fault of the dog walker, so maybe you should think about what you say before you say it

normally i would be the first one saying something about his comments. but he just lost a dog and it meant the world to him.
just let him vent..

im not mad or anything, i totaly understand his loss, i'd feel the same way if something happened to my dog, but you have to keep it all in perspective. otherwise acting on the things this person is seeing is only gonna end up with someone going to jail and i can gurantee its not going to be the driver of the van, but hey, it's not my problem if people do stupid things
vent on brother...

Same scenario happened to a friend of mine, but the driver stopped and helped the dog (but still died). There is no way charges can be laid; no matter what, as long as the driver doesn’t leave the lane (deliberately swerve to hit it, etc) and follows the rules of the road, it’s the owners/ handlers fault. Even if they were able to and simply refused to stop for the dog there is nothing you can do. Unfourtunately traffic laws preceed in this situation. You cannot compare a human’s life to any animal.
In the end, what pisses me off is the spinelessness of the lady to not stop! That’s ALL you can really hold against her (mentally)
Besides what are you gonna do? Find her and say why didnt you stop when you hit my dog you heartless bitch? Its pointless...
The direction of this thread is moot. Let it rest and grieve for your dog instead of being vengefull. I understand anger is a part of grieving, but your not in the right here. This thread should be about rememberance and not revenge. Let her rest in peace.
