Cool Edit Pro... thats the old version its been taken over by adobe now, adobe audition but its like $400 usd and i can't find it anywhere yet.. but i got CEP. OR you could just play the mid and open up basic wav recorder and hit play on the mid and record on the wav... basic but it works

or if its just 1 time thing here u can send it to me and ill do it for ya

mdidi files are just the contol parameters for the device its playing through.

I believe you want the instruments output in wav.

Use Goldwave to monitor your playback and record that way..
