hey i was just wondering if there is a fast way to convert avi files to DVD format, i use Roxio's dVD builder right now but it takes so long to make 1 dvd because it has to play the entire thing at 2.4X b4 it can even burn it. Any faster ways????

dang, i was hoping there might of been another program or something, would it encode faster if i have a faster DVD burner? lets say a 16X burner, right now i think its only a 4X or something

having a faster burner wont help cause its the program u use that reads it at that speed but when u burn it after its encoded a faster burner would be helpful

other then that u would have to find a better program
