How Much Sleep Do you guys need???
How much sleep do you need in order to be fully functional the next day?
Personally, I'd say its around 10-12 hours at least. Even after about 12 hours I wake up, but still feel like sleeping for another hour or two.
I've been getting by on 5.5-5.75 hours of sleep Monday to Friday for about the past month. I can honestly say I can't handle it.
This morning I had a dream that I woke up and checked the clock, and it was 6:05, which is about when I usually get my sorry *** out of bed, but, like always "I'll just lie there for another 5 min." I always fall asleep again. I ended up waking up (this time for real, not in the dream), freaked out that I'll be late(since I assumed I fell asleep after seeing that it was 6:05), checked the clock beside my bed, and it was still 5:40.
WTF???
I coudln't fall asleep after that, I was thinking too much about the dream I had that I woke up.
I was actually considering that I went back in time for a sec, too.

You guys are all NUTS!!!
I know its a ton of wasted hours in a day.
But thats what my body need I guess. Especially after a night of drinking.

I wouldnt be able to do anything. Huge migranes all the time, lazy and sleepy as hell.

my friend johnny his mom im SURE OF IT never sleeps
i'd be over playing PS2 with him at like 5am and his mom is making like dinner and **** lol

The only way I can get sleep is:
1. Move out permanently
2. Not come home
3. Have no life and be in bed by 10pm 7 days a week.
4. Die

if i want to sleep in i can..... if i wake up and just want to sit on my couch and vege all day i can
no one vacuumes/cooks or makes any noise till I wake up

exactly why you said when your younger your body needs to use energy to grow and you normally use energy when awake moving around and stuff so in order to grow the body needds to sleep more and you have to stop doing things so that energy can be redirected... when your older you don't grow so energy has to be burned off with activity so therefore your wanting to be awake more... and blah blah balh etc etc

To add to that.. when you get old, you don't wanna sleep as much cuz you want to enjoy life as much as you can b4 your time is up...

During the week i need about 10-12 hours of sleep, during the weekends i need 12+ I woke up an hour ago so i sleep about 13 hours. i have no clue why i need so much sleep, its some fooked up stuff.
