how to remove this bar on internet explorer....

hmm i have this dumb blue bar i got from installing msn plus whenever i right click and click on the name it goes off and then if i load explorer again it comes back,

annoying as ***

on your menu bar at top of screen click "view" then "toolbars>"
and "searchbar will have a checek mark...just click that and bamm...voila

I got rid of my google one by right clicking on it, and unchecking the name.

i right clicked it, click its name
i thoguht VOILA


but load another window or go to another page and BAM there it is again

Its cuz msn plus does that. Try scanning ad aware, Ive fixed a few friends computers by doing so.

Try scanning your system with adaware. Its probably the result of some spyware installed with msn plus.

and nope it doesnt fix,

hehe yea ad aware is good,

damn bar is annoying!

Yeh kazaa has that spyware trash. But Ad Aware should fix it, I still can't figure out what I did to fix my friends computer. I remember all I did was Ad-Aware. I don't know why it isn't working for you BladeX.

i ran adaware at least 3 times now haha still clean and it still ops up

yea i got kazaa lite but like you said ithink adaware took care of it

The bar is on machine too ... good thing I'm upgrading it ...

to remove it try uninstalling MSN plus ... does it also get uninstalled? if not then try uninstalling internet explorer and reinstalling that ....

Try this..

Click Tools; internet options; ADVANCED.

Under the Browsing section un-click "Enable third party browser extensions" .. that should clear up your problem.. post up if it wokred or not.

Just to let everyone know.......that's what my brother told me to tell you guys to try. (the third party thing)


Also, Kazza Lite doesn't have pop ups or spyware, so that can't be the problem.
