HUGE accident in Stoney Creek....

Last night at around midnight, 2 cars were racing and one car slammed into an old man, severed his legs, and killed his dog. Onlookers said the dog literally exploded, thats how hard they got hit. I just got a phone call today and it turns out the driver of the car that hit the man & dog lives near me and the kid grew up with my little brother. I'm also good friends with his older brother as well. This kid is totally screwed.

His insurance will probably cancell him, and he's going to get sued for life. The saddest part is that my dad recognized the elderly man. He walks by our house everyday with his dog.... this is soo sad.

This is a lesson for all you street racers out there. I'm still in shock that this happened!

God, that's so sad... things like this reminds me to drive safe every moment and to enjoy driving without risking my own and other people's life.

What's done is done, I hope the old man can recover soon and walk again. Condolences on the dog, rest in peace. The young dude is pretty much fucked for good. He would have to beat an old lady with a stick before he touches the steering wheel again.

Moral of the story:

Never walk your dog in the night.

what they should to do is put a non removable chip in every new drivers car... a chip doesn't allow the throttle body to open more then 60% and have rev limiters set at like 4500 for civics and lower for domestics obviously... or just not allow young kids to buy car they would be inclinded to race in..

ya, that's bad, but what about all those 'tards that stop in the middle of an on/off ramp instead of merging with traffic

some guy I know killed a guy when he crashed his Lexus IS300... he didn't really get screwed, his dad has money, so I guess he bought his freedom but he's driving again... I think a BMW this time.

The problem there is that many of the street racing accidents are caused by kids driving their parents' cars that think they're big ****.

Just raise the driving age to 25. Before that, TTC is your best friend.

Well, at least 18 or 21 age limit... in Yugo it's 18, but you are allowed a moped before that... from 14 on you can ride a moped, which is safe and teaches you to be aware. I'd be cold as **** in the winter though.

I know the kid very well that got into an accident last night. To tell you the truth, the car is a pos. I tried to talk to him today but he would not talk about it.

I will probably see him tonite. I heard that one of the old mans legs was severed off and his arm. The dog is a goner. Its sad that the dog had to go like that. Poor dog was just cruising along with his best bud and, well you know. That sucks.

I see the kid and talk to the kid on a daily basis. I can just imagine what everyone is going through. His parents are really nice, but they just cant control the kid. I dont understand why. Sometimes its hard I guess.

2 Morals to the story:

See what street racing does.......

Why walk your dog at 12:00 at night. I know it is a free country, but why ?

why do you guys give a **** about the dog? I'm sure it was cute and smart... but it's a dog... dogs get smoked by cars all the time, or get put down and turned into soap.

The old man, ya that's unfortunate... last XX years of his life, and he'll hardly be able to enjoy them

A dog doens't just explode at the sight of a bad driver ... the bad driver must have been going pretty fast, maybe not racing, but definitely going fast.

Teenagers behind a wheel of a car think they're God... stupid ******* street racers. I hope they all burn in hell... Usually when I see somebody on a street going like 100 in a 60 zone...... that pisses me off.. I usually go in front of them to block them from going faster ... stupid *******... you can high beam me and honk me all you want.. you stupid ******' driver.

Rear end me.. I rather you rear end me than an old man and his dog.

I think we should find out where these street racers live and take a bat to their legs so they can't drive their cars! Stupid street racers thinking their cars are like Ferraris.

If you guys want to test how fast your car can go... take it up north... to I believe..... County Rd. 13. There's this place right where it starts (south point) that it goes for like 25 km and it's COMPLETELY straight... doesn't turn one bit.. and there's no traffic on there (cuz there's no houses or anything around there...

Lots of hills and you drive through valleys and up hills.. but it never turns... if you could lock your steering wheel.. you can literally just press the gas and sleep.

Anyways.. rant done. Death to street racers.
