I had forgotten how great mirc was

I lost my music collection recently to a failed harddrive...

mirc is great at allowing me to find and grab the music I want 1.5 GB in a day .... I'm enjoying mirc

Mirc is organized and with the new download manager I have found I just look through a list select the mp3's I want and click ok ... the system then manages the queueing up of songs and the downloading of the music... makes it go really quickly 1 GB or so a day and I should be up to 40 GB's in no time....

why I don't use Kazaa...

1) the songs are not of consistant quality for one album, on mirc mosts lists I get are by album each song is the same bitrate /volume across the album

2) I have figure out song titles and then look for each individual song, with mirc I look for album and grab it

3) I then have to sort and re title everything to be consisent... mirc most songs are titled the same (there are some exceptions) and as such it's just copy and paste into the album.

mIRC was fun when I was downloading gigabytes worth of movies from those movie crewz but it took my life away just like TCC is doing to me right now

not sure I'll look up the name when I get home .... it's easy to use and works wonders ... my only issue is keeping it filled with things to do ... and it auto grabs lists so that I just have to open up the list and look ..... really good program

I use Kazaa for more of the common **** out there, but for the hard to find house, trance, euro, jungle, drum and bass I use WinMX
