I need help Designing a flyer.
I've always designed my own flyers (I do magic shows for kids parties). But I'm basically brain farting lately. too much stress with selling my house, moving this month, car, and bills - I just can't get creative and make my flyer look good. I get all the info on the page - but it just looks plain.
so..... I'm looking for someone to spice up my flyer. I have the basic layout and pictures and format - Just need an artistic touch.
Is there someone here who can help me out?? Currently I use Corel Draw (perhaps that's the problem )...

this might be a dumb idea but maybe you can work with it. not to long ago burger king or some joint like that had these felt coloring(sp) paper things that kids could color in with markers. they had all types of designs n shyt. I liked coloring those things! anyway, one of the designs of of stars, moons, and the galaxy. because i colored it in purple, blue, and some yellow, it look wicked cool. maybe you've already done something like that but i thought it was very magical looking when i finished coloring. it also had 3-d ish type look.
good luck dude!

the second one looks better than the first one in my opinion. the first seems to be lacking something and the second one def has more substance to it. You should changes the dudes head so it flows better with the rest of his body.

i want you to hire me part time and teach me magic!
$175/45 minutes? not as much as a stripper charges.. but yo.. respect.
anyway, this flyer design is awful. i'm not busting *****. it has no fun type of appeal to it.
my quick thoughts
-don't use rigid rectangles
-incorporate a light background
-if you're printing in greyscale, design it in grayscale
-the oval at the bottom does not meet the rectangle in the spot where the above two do
-maybe put the stars throughout the whole thing
-that small image is not in a good spot, nor is it clear enough
again, i'm not being a *****.. i nitpick at this ish.. i'm too much into interfaces not to.. used to be my job. haha

Thats the 1st ROUGH draft - I need to do all that stuff you mentioned. I just can't design lately, my creative side just isn't working.
