I will say as a follow up, you should keep your views about me and my views to yourself.

I oppose hypocrisy and stupidity.

I do not do either of those.

I just act stupid.

The difference being I have no problem talking about their beliefs and views, or what they think of me.

"Morality is doing what is right no matter what you are told. Religion is doing what you are told no matter what is right. "

Maybe everyone who's stupid and hypocritical are just acting too. If you have no problem talking about what people think of you, then your first line is irrelevant.

How's that weekend coming along? Any plans yet?

So you say to not tell you what to do, then you tell me what to do. Interesting for a guy who prides himself on non-hypocrisy

I never said you were stupid or hypocritical.

i did say i can't conceive of a true christian wearing bling without being a hypocritical idiot.

I don't know whether or not you fall into that category, but lots of people do.

you're telling me you think i shouldn't talking because you don't like my views... think about that a little more..

---

my weekend will not be that good unfortunately.. school tomorrow morning then company party. sunday work.

my weekend won't be much of a weekend.

should there be an official weekend post?

this sort of stupidity and ignorance...

http://www.wapt.com/news/18209085/detail.html

bothers me.. especially because people won't be as prone to cast it aside if the news item was about being possessed by Santa Claus... one is no more realistic than the other.. but religion is given respect.. even if it's a potentially dangerous delusion / mental disorder.

the north pole, didn't you know that? Rudolph told me.

feel free to disagree, but if you disrespect my religious believes, understand you shouldn't get mad if i disrespect yours.

The Snowman (he's like a priest/cleric/rabbi) told me if you've been naughty 50% or more of your life, you have to give Santa's elves Brazilians for eternity!

Kind of what Christians have in regards to that whole sufler brimstine and a guy with a trident

Not once did I say that. I said that if every religion kept their views to themselves, rather than pushing them onto people, the world would be a better place. It seems like through all these posts that you're doing the same: pressing your views onto people, and I sense a little provocation in each too. It has nothing to do with agreeance or not liking your views, but with the bottom line of why you feel the way you do about religion in the first place.

Have fun at your office party.

ditto on that. I teach grade 9 religion and world religions.. And a think I emphasize to my grade 11s in World religions is to be understanding of other religions. The reason is that why we learn is to find a connection to our own, and to become understanding when we come upon a person who is doing some funky ritual. So to my own religion, and among others, I say give some respect to other religions even if you do have some or have no knowledge of it.
