"And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;...a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him." Genesis 4:11-15
maybe i am to get vengence seven fold upon these people?

if you break the sections of the bible into the 2 parts (old and New) you'll find God changes. in the first he is very vengeful, and there are times you can see God getting angry, even suggests an eye for an eye at one point...or wiping out cities.
if you look at the New Testament... God is love... thats the whole story in a nut shell. Except for the part where Jesus went into a temple with a Cat of 9 tails to kick out all the unfair salesmen that were working there... Jesus and God suggest "loving thy Neighbor as you would love thyself". basically the New Testament shows Jesus had the first lovefest beating John Lennon by a few centuries.

no christian woman who wants to get married in a church should want a large diamond. jesus was not about the bling.
"Jesus" was humble and preached tolerance AND acceptance.
something many people who claim to life their life by the bible do not.
I don't think Jesus would be too concerned about gay marriage, helping people win the superbowl, or helping Christian soldiers slaughter non-Christian humans.
