I think Jadakiss should start worrying

"The Game and 50 Cent may have put aside their differences, but the threat of violence still remains center stage in the world of hip-hop.

Yonkers native Jadakiss, whose debut album "Kiss Tha Game Goodbye" went platinum in 2001, was threatened at gunpoint Thursday by a group of Brooklyn men slowly riding through Chelsea in a tow truck, police said.

The four suspects were arrested after they slammed into the back of a patrol car that was part of a task force monitoring rap events, police said.

Jadakiss' manager Troy Carter declined to comment.

Jadakiss was one of many hip-hop performers who attended a party at the Roxy nightclub in Chelsea to commemorate the shooting death of Christopher Wallace, better known as "The Notorious B.I.G."

The incident came hours after Jadakiss released a song entitled "Checkmate" on Hot 97 that disparages the rapper's new album.

Last week, a member of The Game's entourage was shot and wounded outside radio station Hot 97 after a feud erupted between him and 50 Cent.

The shooting sparked a decades-old nationwide debate about violence in the hip-hop community, a protest outside the station and, a press conference Wednesday where 50 Cent and his rival The Game made up.

Jadakiss and his entourage had left the party at the Roxy and were walking northbound on 10th Avenue between W. 20th and W. 21st streets when a black Chevy tow truck rolled slowly beside them.

The man in the passenger seat, Luis Roldan, 25, began hurling insults at Jadakiss, and then pulled out a silver .40-caliber Taurus handgun on the rapper.

An officer, who was watching the incident unfold, pursued the truck, which later hit the back of a patrol car.

Roldan, was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, said police."

I dunno where you guys have been, but jadakiss is a fuggin joke and his songs are gay, and he's prolly gay too. Fak him, no one is gonna miss him 6 ft under. Notorious BIG and 2Pac I still miss to this day they had pretty much an all day tribute (cynikal, you'd know these...) on 97.9 and 105.9 and it reminded me what hip-hop and rap used to be about. Those were the golden days of the industry.

ya jadakiss is overated, he tries to be to much like jay-z but his lyrics arent as good and he needs better producers, i have both his albums and th newest one, outside of a couple of songs, is pretty weaksauce, you can say whatever you want but 50's first album was much better than both of Jadakiss'

have anyone else noticed that when a rap or hip- hop cd is about to come out , either the artist or someone from his entourage get either threaten or shot or stabbed, its all about publicity. you never hear anything about this stuff happenin with a rock group.

man O man

I really liked 50 Cents "get rich or die trying" cd, i mean i liked EVERY SINGLE SONG...

tell me this, WHAT THE HELL happend to this new one??? I just bought it today at bestbuy not too much 12.99+ tax, other then the singles that are out on the radio like candy shop, disco inferno
i dont' know what the hell he was doing..

1. you can barely hear him because his voice is so low in this one
2. I think he slept half way making this album
3. I feel sorry for him, because i know he could have done A LOT better then what he put out

I just dont' understand what happend, it's not like the "get rich or die trying" cd was just a luckey cd that i liked every song on, **** his old old cd's were really good, but i'm just confused what the hell happend here
