I just got v-tec now that i installed a d15b and i love it too. it's not some unforseen surge of power like a turbo perhaps but it sure is beautifull! i had turbo before and likes that sound as well, it just seems like less stress on the engine and less stress on my wallet since it's less likely to fudge up.

remember a boosted LS compared to a Vtec Counterpart will not make as much HP at the same PSI if compared to one another - the torque will be there but VTEC will give it upper hand.
it depends where your money goes into.
If you look at it from different points of views.. all Honda motors are awesome.. hands down... even the little D
i think NA - its takes alot of money to make power...
we're talkin every little nick and cram u can get... from air flow to restrictions, weight...
ive driven a hatch with a LS motor mated to a ITR tranny!
that was a fun car to drive!
but hey make a call - stick by it, prove people wrong thats how i look at it!
