Its very hard when theres OPP at the entrance. and they can chose to search you. IF they do and your caught then what. is it really worth the headache.

I don't think any campground let you bring booze. Just because they dont want wild drunk people running around the grounds and they dont want the grounds to become polluted... Also if you did get by OPP at the gate, they still have them in the grounds. At night they patrol so nothing goes wrong.

Wow.. what camp ground are you at? I've gone to a few provincial parks this summer with people and we bring stuff with us in the trailer.. no hassle at all. As long as it doesn't become a drunken bon-fire-rowdy-crowd disturbance, I don't see why they would even know the difference.

Odd, I've been to Earl Rowe in Alliston a few times this year and each time we bring lotsa stuff with us. No problems! we just sit around the trailers and drink there. Not once were we questioned about it. And it was over a long weekend the one time ! Who knows..

LOL when i graduated from high school, a bunch of us went up to Algonquin Park...awesome place....we Canoed to an island and had it all to ourselves....we got alcohol in no problem....it was a couple of bottles of whisky. . .plastic bottles of mickies to be exact. . .so we could just take it back out with us. . . we had no problems at all. . . and if the opp do search u...they take the alcohol away...w/e...haha fine take it. . .u'll still have an amazing time. believe me....we only drank at night....during the day...we had more then enough things to do to keep us entertained...we'd canoe around, fish, swim. . .make food mass amounts and just eat till we almost died. . lol cleaned the place up. . . it was an awesome time. .

i went "camping" a few weekends ago in parry sound (camp site is called richmond lake) and we had tonnes of alcohol with us lying around our site. now i say "camping" b/c apparently they're developing the surrounding area and so beside the camp site was a mcdonalds, harveys, tim hortons, sobeys, huge canadian tire, etc. i also say "camping" b/c the bf and his friends decided to bring one of their xbox's and since my bf forgt to bring the tv, they bought one at the canadian tire down the street.

and so we played xbox for half the weekend

but there was no hassle for us bringing in alcohol and drinking it.

Are you sure about that? I was there 2 weekends ago to go tubing, and there where big signs about no alcohol for the long weekend.
