About OEM tires. They are always a compromise. I have FR 690s as my "Winter" tires. They are much quieter than my Yokohama summer tires. Of course, winter tires will always be better than all season tires in the snow. There is no contest but they are reasonable. In snow, FR 690s are better than the old FR 680s and I won't go into the Michelin XGT V-4s that originally came with my car...

To be honest, I find the FR 690s are one of the better all season tires in the snow. Trust me, I have driven and tested back to back many tires in Winter condtions.

Just my $0.02

Mark

In the winter.. I'm riding on Michelin Arctic Alpin and in the summer.. boy.. do I have a treat in store for myself. They're sitting in my basement waiting for the first true week of spring

And for all that see my car in the spring.. I hope you like it.

Actually I find Michelin to be pretty shitty tires...
That's why you sold them to me right
Yes I do agree with this, the tires are garbage but if you drive cautiously there shouldn't be a problem.

I like Bridgestone and Yokohama tires for winter. Toyo or Falken for summer. Hoosier or Kumho for racing.
