there's a reason they make crates for dogs, have you ever seen what happens to something that isn't strapped down in a car during an accident? it becomes a flying projectile.

i dont know why morons like this are allowed to have pets, would you do that with your kid? isn't it amazing that they have this new thing called child car seats.....the same concept as a carrying crate...idiots

They have special seats and harness just for animals, so why not use them. If the airbag deployed, it would probably kill both of them.
my dogs have one of those seat belt things.. well it's more like a harness and you do up the seat belt and it hooks onto that.. so he still has a little bit of freedom but can't jump all over you..

lol, my dog always jumps on my lap while i'm driving but he's so tiny. I always put him back in the passanger seat though, people shouldn't drive like that, it's risky.

Cops are too busy pulling over street racers aka Hondas, to be worried about people with dogs, woman doing their makeup, talking on the phone, or minivans weeving in and out of traffic at 150kph. We all know those modified exhausts pose more of a risk *sarcasm*

do u see a problem with having a 2yr old child sitting on the driver's lap while driving a la britney spears?

imagine your airbag goin off with fluffy sittin on your lap...I dunno if you like a face full of cocker spaniel but I know I dont...not to mention dead cocker spaniel and its most likely gonna inflict some good damage to you if not kill you.

if your dog cant behave and sit in the passenger seat, the back seat or wherever, crate it but in all reality your dog should be in a safety restraint. If your treat your dog like a family member (your kid) treat them that way in the car. you wouldnt have little timmy frolicking around the car with no safety belt on would you?

no, i don't think i do.

your reasoning and logic is on par with the police force.

you have a bright future ahead of you.

wishing people and an innocent dog death is not my style.

cops won't bother with people like that... not even if they are putting on there make up, eating a big mac, talken on the phone and have there dog on there lap all at once..... but if they were doing all that PLUS driving a civic... then they'd be in trouble... lol...

i don't know how some of you can defend this... its dangerious... thats all you need to know.. so don't do it...

how about for all you that think driving with your dog on your lap is cool... imagine yourself in the back seat of that car...... now thats a bit scary don't you think.... your life in the hands of some dude that is driving with a dog on his lap.... not a very good situation to be in...
