sorry to hear that dude...
funny how he said you can get your money back if it isn't mint... then retracts it...
I've had this same deal with others before and they were always good for their word when something went wrong...
I'd be more than fuming...
lets hope he smartens up... and gives you a refund...

that sucks some serious juice bucket!
I always try to go to the person making the deal so if anything goes wrong....I know exactly where their at. If we meet up somewhere I always squeeze their info with particulars first and make it seem like maybe i'll come to them. this way we meet up halfway but i still know where their at! Dang G! i feel for yah. Why don't you just go smack him around a little bit till he coughs up your money. If you're a small dude then get some peeps to travel with you. odds are if you show up...so will your money!
good luck!

When i got this engine home, the next day after work i started disassembling it. When i pulled the oil pan off i noticed the oil was thick and chocolate milk-like. I pretty much new it was bad news from there on in. This is when i found out the ringlands were busted on all 4 pistons and there was serious damage to the crankshaft.
So i called the ****.
And i still need to find a b16 shortblock.

I did, i think he was surprised when i busted out my ratchet with the 19mm and crank pulley bolt (i brought one just in case, and i'm glad i did). I spun it over a few times to check out the cylinder walls. Pretty much everything was there (except the crank pulley, oil pump gear and the oil cooler) but it was bone dry....prolly for a reason. You can't tell an engine has broken ringlands until you A) pull the pistons out of the cylinders or B) go to start the engine once its in your car (which i'm super glad i didn't do).
