Mississauga Transit is now hiring. I just found out this morning. So I sent off my resume. Fingers crossed!

$22-$26 is big considering that you only make 3-4 round trips. a bus from meadowvale to humber is about 1.5 hours put that in an 8hr shift thats like 2.5 round trips a day. not bad since all you do is sit and drive (if this was the ttc it would be a diff story). hell PSW's stand all day and get $18-$22 wiping ****.

Bring on the competition! Not everyone wants to drive a bus. I'm not sure why I do... But I do!
I have a co-worker now who's son teaches self-defense, so I'll take some close combat training in case anything comes up!
Money is decent. I'm more in it for the career aspect. After the first year, I'll be making about $8k more at MT than where I am now. But this job is just that, a JOB. MT is a career. Room to move, security etc. Plus, I know I can come back here if it doesn't work out with them. LOL

I have a friend who works for Mississauga Transit and he tells me the bus drivers have the worst job. All the little wanna gangbanger punks that hang around Square1, crazy crack heads, perverts taking cell phone pics of litle kids, no thanks.
