Seems like a user problem...

The animated gif does absolutely nothing to slow down the page..

How do I know??

Because the pic and the TCC site are hosted by the same company..

Served up from the exact same place...

Perhaps your computer is just slow like your car....

The thing I don't understand is that that image is kept in the browser's cache...

So you really only load it up once..

After that you are just reloading it locally...

Are you using IE???

He's not complaning about the animation speed...

He's saying it causes his browser to stutter...

It's not a hosting problem...

Right Dave???

I don't believe so......been watching the load stats all the time....don't see why IE would be to blame either. What ISP are you using and what is the connetion speed....ie. rogers...lite internet access.

I am using a roger Internet connection with IE and I don't see anything stuttering. Again not saying things don't occur...just need more info on how you connect.

And Aaron your sig file is 200085 in size......should be able to chop that down a bit if you kill some of the dpi...it'll drop the size of the file.....the internet only displays 72dpi on a monitor if I am correct

See, now it's cool...just for some reason, if I can see that gif, the browser slows down....but since 90EFHB replied last, I can't see the gif, and hence have no prob. When it stutters, even the smilies are extra slow...like the richslap one, you can actually watch him slap in slow mo...it's pretty cool and the gif takes forever for the mirror to fold, and even your avitar slows down. I dont' get it. I use a LAN at work, T1 connection.
