the ladies.. perfect.. the cars?? not soo good..
i saw 1 car there.. it was a white integra i believe.. and part of the front fender was all mashed up..
this 1 dude had the lowrider and the security came over when he started jumping it.. like its a car show! what the hell? guys can so in there with bags n lay it out n pick it up again but this guy cant use his hydros?

and alot of rice this year too..

i saw maybe 4 or 5 cars in there worth taking pics of ie. the 91 hatch with the headlite n tail light conversion.. full fiberglass interior..
or the crx with the light conversions.. glass interior.. and wicked *** paintjob
i saw a sweet idea with the tv's too on a 93 hatch.. comming off the door panels like mirrors on the inside... looked pretty slick..

i duno i think that just bolting a few things on a car and saying its "done up" is a joke.. look.. i got eurolites and 1 piece headlights.. a spoiler..and my car is lowered.. lets put some cotton around and in my car to give it the "cloud affect"... the idea sucked at darknights... it sucks at importfest

just my opinions on this show... but im sure dam glad i didnt pay the full price
I whole heartedly agree with you. It was a real disappointment. The main reason I went there was to check out Teknotik to buy some SRD Replicas. But when I got there, they didn't have anymore. Now I have to wait several weeks to get some. Which sucks, but what ya gonna do.

But yes, Importfest 2k5 < *

I actually had a good time. It was long. but I got to spend 12 hours with friends. Plus I knew most of the vendors on 100 level, and it was nice talking to them too. (Lockdown, Teknotik, Audio Heaven, Option JDM, Defcon, Shinzo Werks) Did any of you stop by the TCC booth? It was next to CSCS.

All and all got to meet some nice new people, and talk to alot of people I don't get to see often.

i do agree that there was alot of ricey cars there but there were some really nice ones also, seeing the yellow civic hatch with the b16 turbo setup making 443 hp made it all worth it for me. Also, there was an orange/black 1990 integra that made me spooge along with the integra with k20 and rsx dash.

It was okay. I mean it wasn't as good as the last time I went, but it was still enjoyable, and got to see some friends!!!

It was nice to see a TCC booth. Get some more exposure out there!!!

by that i only meant that its so easy to get in. wash ur car in and out, buy some rims/tires ($1000) lower it ($600) and drop in a system ($400)

thats like half the people on this board.

I thought the best cars in the show were the 2 MR2's...the orange and silver one and that EG coupe with the carbon fiber hood, fornt bumper, fenders, side skirts, trunk and rear bumper. When they had the light shining on it, it looked so nice.

Most of the systems were **** too. Thats mainly why I went....I was pissed. The only good system I heard was the celica (i think) with the 2 W7's and the hatch with the 2 15inch W1s.

Lucky i got in for free. LAAAAAAAAAME

no shame in that. If it's auto then whatever, some people cant drive standard for more reasons than just being lazy...however...Importfest is still in 1997 mode. I didnt go but hearing about what was there is making me laugh. Like the guy with the bondo headliner; what goes on in some peoples heads i'd like to know
