a car show is ment for "show" cars. that is that.
many of you call it rice, but rice is the attitude of a driver imo not the car itself. show cars are ment to be flashy, thats it, interiors, exteriors and so on, thts how you gain points. not by making it look stock and plain. unfortunelty its not like that, every car show is like that. and for you guys going to a car show not expecting to see show cars is funny.

all shows have the same cars? yes true, there are sponsorships invloved which mean you have to attend shows, not many are willing to spend much money to mofidy cars to - show quality, thus you don see any newcomers. and in most cases you gain paints as well, but keep a close eye, these cars knowing they are at every show usually change something every show, and usualy re-do major things every season to change it up as the judges also see these cars every show and don want to judge it on that.

imo don wanna see show cars? then don attend n e shows

but it was a good show, was working all day with Teknotik in our booth so din get to see the show floor, but got too see a few vendors, jeff @ audio heaven n tcc n others. plus i saw everyone prob 50X walking by me through out the day lol.

oh i saw master t and a couple of his buddies, he was parked near my car , only his and mine in the whole coud section - lol i scared him in the underground parking @ the dome lol, i saw him walking infront of my car from a distance, and saw him looking @ the car so i turned on the panic mode lol. got home prob bout 3:30am - almost got into an fight with 3 teens in a maxima as they were purposly trying to ram me, yup what can i say go t.o

all this senseless bickering is exactly why I'm outta the "import scene"...90% of you guys cry about this and that, rice this rice that...wtf are you guys bitching about? have you ever beent to a car show before or seen one on tv? yes? well then wtf are u suprised about when u see the same "not your taste" cars there?

you guys paid the money knowing what your were going to see and if you didnt then maybe now you know you dont wanna attend import shows anymore

anyways, carry on with your thread

Sometimes I like going to these shows, seeing the different audio set ups, paint jobs and etc. It's interesting what people can come up with.

Audio Heaven loves u too Michelle

First show I've been to in like almost 2 years, and it was ****. Only reason I was there was to help my friends @ Audio Heaven.

Ran into a lot of old people though that I used to work with and hang with, but I'm all past that now.

BTW, BEST CAR IN THE SHOW BY FAR was the red MK4 Supra from Seattle. 1150 HP, 8.8 quarter miles times, sequential dual turbos. It was the last vehicle period, on the show floor to leave because it couldn't be driven around due to the amount of power/clutch combo.

Yeah, which is what made his special. It was totally off the wall set-up. One of the only working cars out there with that type of set-up.

I know a lil bit about Supras, considering I've got one. Wish it was an MK4 though haha. One day soon.

it was a long day for a lot of us...our friends were judged on the 100 level at 12...the people on the floor waited till 6. made for a long day when we had a room to chill in...my biggest disappointment was the organization of the show itself...communication was brutal...it took us 20 mins to find our way into the show so we could get at our cars to detail...the rogers center staff and the promoters did not communicate well at all...next thing was that a lot of us were competing with cars that were owned by companies or sponsored by companies...ie my class which was won by the concept on wheels civic(beautiful cars built with no budget)...in a show like this, there has to be a mild and wild and extreme class...there was no chance in hell of winning anything against a car with an unlimited budget. on a bright note, my friend braden won 1st in 7th gen civic...and another friend won 2nd in audi other with his s4.
It was disappointing that other cars such as my friends focus(full CF front end) and precidia did not even have a class to compete in...so they were put in domestic and import other...kinda sux for them as they were told that they had a class...and paid to compete in that class...needless to say they were pissed. another thing was...a friend of mine has a saab 95 viggen...was told that he did not have enough done to his car to compete...he has a nice clean car with some mild mods...yet there was a friggin mini van there...with a stereo...and a gmc canyon there that looked stock....I dont understand...
On a side note, I dont thing I have ever walked up and down more steps in my life....omg my feet hurt!!!!

Glad to see some people had fun, this is the first year I didn't go since the beggining. I always had a car to enter, this year I didn't have enough time to finish up, from the pictures I saw I'm sorry I missed it. Theres always next year. Thanks to the people that posted up the great pictures, congrats to the people that placed.

the guy just dummied it in there and all it did was act as part of his air intake, it was done so gay with plumbing **** and evreyting, my buddie asked the kid what he got out of it, the kid actually said with out a like, "like 50 to 70 horsepower" it was great, ill try and get a pic of it off my bud
