I don't know if your boy baged his ride, but if not he needs to lower it more, other then that.....looks very clean

if you guys want to see a wicked show.. go to indy..
ive never been but ive seen pics and videos.. i saw a video last year of an excalade with 24' chrome floater rims.. it was nuts.. the guy had it body dropped on air ..he had like 6 tv's in it.. full fiberglass interior.. a few w7's.. suicide gullwing doors(crazy mod) custom kit.. u dont see anything like that around here.. every car/truck/suv is heavily modded like that..
the show is crazy.. u pay like 20 bux american for the weekend and u can camp out there all weekend.. get all waisted.. fun times.. tons of venders..im going next year for sure.. now thats a real car show

honestly i know its sad to say but the best show ive been to around here is the milton show .. its not all the same cars u see at darknights and importfest.. theres alot of local rides,
meh i duno.. theres a whole new season comming up in about 6 months..

what i never understood about these heapfests, dkn and all these other shows is why is there 1 class for the euroboxes, 1 class for the domestic, and about 20 for civics? not hondas, but civics. 92 white civic 2 door, 92 white civic 4 door, 93 black civic 2 door, etc...? funny how everyones complaining about these shows, yet what ur failing to relaize is that these shows are catering to you specifically. how hard is it to win an award when there is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in 20 diff categories? the people who run these shows know their audience and cater to them, so why be disappointed when its pretty much just civicfest? its a car show for show cars... you wanna see stock cars, go to tims.

Have you ever been to DKN? Do you have any idea how many civics there are in any given class? There is a tonne of competition there thats why they had to create so many classes in the first place.

If your talking about the stagered fitament anyone can tell you that the MKIV Golfs are very tail happy therefore if you run a wider tire in the rear it cures this. He runs an 8" wide rim in the front and a 10" wide rim in the rear.

It's not bagged we put the stock suspension back in cause he was waiting on the full Porshe Big Red 4Pot Brake upgrade.

it can easily have 4 of the same tires without having deep rear rims. meh, whatever floats his boat.

outta curiousity...do you search for every post i make just to argue with them? i realize theres tons of civics and that there are like 15 generations. but how is that fair that any other car had 1 or 2 for every generation total (making real competition) but there are 10 diff civic classes? buy a 1999 4door, paint it pink, put on rims and u just won the 1999 pink 4 door class. do you see where im going with this? obviously you dont cause ur on the defense but if you look at it from the other side, everyone has to actually compete for a spot where there are limited places.

Actually, I think you bring that on yourself. You are on a Civic board pretty much flaming civics and civic owners. You've pretty much attracted the attention yourself.

i dont flame, i try to help in all the other sections. yet in this thread, all i see is people saying how **** an event that, like it or not, is geared towards them, yet they still criticize. theres nothing im saying that hasnt already pretty much been said, but im the one who gets flamed because im the only non civic owner.

I am not disputing that. But to be honest, whenever I read a post or see one updated, if your name is attacthed to it, the first thing I am thinking is, what is SteveZ saying negative about civics today.

And this is based on most of your post, not talking about the tech post you make and some of the things you have put up that are positive.

Remember, you can do 10,000 things that are good, but people always remember the one bad thing you did or say.

Just a thought.

Agreed.
I don't know SteveZ, but the first thread I ever read on TCC was one where he was trashing civics and trying to compare Z24 to an SIR I think it was. Anyways, that was an imediate negative first impression and I have the same thought when I see his name as the most recent poster.
Now, I don't know him and he could be cool and all, but I always have that fist impression. Lately, I haven't seen many negative things from him, wich is cool.
Anyways, I just wanted to illustrate how important a first impression is and how people always remember that one negative thing about you. It's in our nature saddly.

And BTW, there's a couple people with non-civics.

Oh...I always take what Brian has to say with a grain of salt. I think the oldtimers disease is starting to kick in! LOL
Where were you last night?

To add to all of this, we do have a domestic forum, euro, acura, motorcycles as well. So we are not all just about civics or honda's. We are expanding and we all have had other cars or like other cars as well.

Did a quick search, don't see you contributing to the domestic forum at all SteveZ

Why is that?

Wrong 275/30R18 would not fit correctly on an 8" wide rim you would have to run a super low pressure in the tire to have a full contact patch. ie the tire would bow in the middle.

Another Example

you mean all 5 threads
not much to discuss there except whats my fav expensive domestic car and why people hate ford.

ANYWAYS, why did this thread suddenly get to a "lets discuss stevez" thread, back on topic.
