i asked for a brochure or something with more information and they refused. information comes after giving creditcard number for acceptance of the offer.

that was the deal breaker for me.

I told the guy on the phone that wining means free and I was'nt gonna pay for chit.

i won that thing too!! after you give the $300 to hold your spot you get 18 months after to collect on the trip!! i have won this thing 5 times already!!... but i told the man, how u win something you have to pay for?!?!

got the exact same call. i was so ****ing excited as i never win anything. and i was jumping for joy like a fat kid in a candy factory. and it was all good till they asked what credit card i had. then im like. wait, you said free, why do u need my credit card. and shes like, well its not all free. there some fees. im like, i can barely afford gas, **** off scammer.

Where I worked, they called it a 'familiarization trip' where you pay the basic fees and they give you the rest free so you can experience their facilities in hopes for repeat business.
