Initial D - Movie (Chinese version)
Saw it on DVD tonight. Don't have much to say but when they drop in that Toda race engine (I believe it is Toda) in the AE86, the engine looks very nice.

It is not even that condensed, well, it is sorta, but the story line doesn't follow the comic.
The reason why I finished it was because I started and I have already wasted my life on it. So by not finishing it, it would make the time-wasting part more significant. However, now that I've seen the whole thing, I have something to comment and talk about.
I was not expecting any acting performance, but I wasn't expecting it to be this sh!tty.

my buddy just showed me one of the comic books maybe 2/3 weeks ago.... before that i didn't know a thing about it.
but this movie is a must have!

All Chinese mall should have these DVDs. Good DVD anime version is 50 bucks for 3 DVDs (1 stage). Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 3 is 2 short movies.
VCDs are cheaper. Stage 4 is out but not as a complete set yet, but in individual cds, not worth it. Buy until that stage is completed.

where can i get the Real movie? i checked Pacific mall last night and they dnt have it yet.. i want to get the english subtitle..
Btw, i bought a complete box set of stage 4, rounds 1-14 for 40$ in pacific mall hehe good deal eh!
