Internet Service Providers

Bell is a bunch of morons.....needless to say i don't want internet from them even though i ordered it for the business to be installed last thursday, didn't show, after 5 phone calls, and being told i will get called back by the person incharge or my account (brand new business acount) and never getting a call back, to hell with them

Cogeco does not have internet in my business area (i would have to run a line, which is $50,000....HAHA! yah right)

Currently running a rogers internet stick which is costing me an arm and a leg because i'm using too much bandwith....

Any ideas? Other ISP?

ps: **** bell

Maybe try this website

Canadian ISP - Select a city and service requirements for your ISP search

it searches ISP for all over canada.. Just select your city , and the type of connection you want

good luck!!

I hate Rogers for their overpriced crap, i still call and nag them and all to lower my bill and what not..... but to be honest, in the long run... If I was you I'd stick with Rogers just because rarely you will have issues... only issue I've ever had with Roger's is over a bill... which can be justified... I also heard from a marketing guy that we will be getting other service providers coming in later this summer...

call them and speak to the "retention or customer relations" department... and tell them that this is waaaay too much.... 300 is just skyrocket... and more than likely somebody put you on the wrong plan... if you call you will most likely be switched to a better plan + receive some kind of incentive or credit for it.... and this is real talks.. Rogers has credited me back over 1k in the past two years..... this is including incorrect billing/being put on the wrong plan/monthly credits... give it a shot!

At least you guys get options down there. Up here in the shitty white north, we get Shaw or Bell. Neither of which are all that great !

first off...i agree with majority of you guys...
ROGERS is a scam..over priced and they dont give a damn about their customers...
i use ACANAC

http://acanac.ca/DSL.htm

I only pay 20$ tax in...not sure if they provide service in your area...

why do you need a business line? I didn't think being a w h o r e required you to have an official office.

Bell is much better than Rogers..I'm happy with them.
