Interview etiquette?
Do you have interview etiquette?
Studies show that 65% of ppl interviewed do not get the job due to their etiquette.
what do you do when going for an interview?
I personally have a firm handshake when introducing myself
Thank everyone by their name upon completion of the interview
Maintain eye contact w/ the interviewer
Keep my suit jacket on (ppl object to this but I think it's proper to keep it on)
hmmm......I usually take my resume in a binder.....does anyone have a suggestion for this? Alternative ideas as to what to carry your resume in?

following rules puts you exactly in line with all the others
you need to stand out
be confident, show free thinking, show that you are a person who can think logically and be personable in order to add to the team.
don't be a sheep who just follows the rules

however, some things such as attire, conduct, you should be careful what you do, you do not want anybody to negative judge you before you have a chance to say a word...

its really easy to distinguish between people who have etiquette and style born into them, and those who have to try to pull it off at an interview

if you have to make the effort to dress up and have proper etiquette for the interview, then you will look like a fake anyways

the most important thing is to know about the company and the position you are being interviewed for...and when they ask you if you have any questions you better have some damn good questions to ask...nobody likes somebody that thinks they know everything or somebody that doesnt know jack
