$100 a month can be on like 10 lines on your account it's not just for one line. As long as one line has an iPhone plan your are entitled to the discount like myself our account has 6 lines on it and monthly is well over 100bux.

I would honestly not have expected Rogers to be that fair. That's right up there with their 3c/MB data overages.

It's like Ted Rogers died or something....

They are doing this because everybody made a huge stink about it since initially everybody that got an iPhone last year wasn't going to eligible to get one at a reasonable price. Just like last year when the initial data plan was announced people made a stink and then we got the 6gb $30 promo plan.

I'm loving 3.0 so far, finally landscape texting!!!!! The cut, copy and paste is key as well I find (especially the fact you can do it with web pages, either the whole thing or specific sections, COOL )

I don't plan on using tethering as I set myself up with a rocket mobile stick before I found out about it.

And to bengali, push notification will be under your settings for the specific App, although I can't tell you which one to use for Toronto, I'm happy with my Google Maps and just reading further ahead for turns while tracking.

I dunno how effective the Voice Memo add-on has been for me other than for a quick record of some guitar stuff so I dont forget it....

Overall I'm enjoying the update and all the little improvements you notice here and there.

wow, just read the thread. I used to be in the loop of cellular phones on Hofo' [cellular forum] and lol i didn't know there was yet another iphone release. Well since i skipped on the 3g' i might jump on the 3gs. I am one who has the 6gb data plan from rogers and i'm using it on my HTC touch which isn't even 3g LOL. But i'm holding onto the plan because i know more data intense devices will come out and need bandwidth.

so 3.1 i know it can be jailbroken, can it be unlocked as well????

i have seen many step by step guides and vid.............along with many problem/complaints from people.

any reliable process you guys know of, for 3.1 jailbroken and unlocking

also if 3.1 can not be unlocked, is there a way to load OS3.0 via itunes? since itunes only offer 3.1 now?

also i heard if you hold down "shift" key on the keyboard and click upgrade on itunes it will ask you to load your own OS file? is it possible in the new version of itunes?
