IQ Religiosity Redux
Something to read
Something I didn't need a study for to conclude.
I just observed informally.
Might interest some people.
Might infuriate others.
Anyone intelligent will take it as a grain of salt.

Interesting corelation, but id agree Bruce it something you don't need a study to prove. Seems to me that knowledge replaces religion (or blind faith) in more "advanced" countries. What do you think of IQ tests themselves? In anthropology i was learn't how IQ tests are 1/2 cultural and 1/2 knowledge, therefore they are not an overly accurate way of judging intelligence. For example i don't watch much tv (simpsons, family guy that i download), im not into pop music, pro sports or celebraties. Thus in theory i could do very poorly on an IQ test, yet i have an "A" average in college.

Anyway, how many people here have taken a real IQ test?? I was tested years ago (I forget why too, it had to do with job or school), my IQ 156 back then.

my bad.. i didn't read too much.. just got the general idea... wow.. those are some low IQ marks then.
it's like 110 or 120 normal? i'm above average as well.
maybe it's a bunch of potheads taking these polls.

no, i meant as a grain of salt.
i think the term 'with a grain of salt' is stupid.
as a grain of salt illustrates the insignificance more.

Polls show that 65% of Americans like polls.
Has anyone conducted a study on whether or not prayer increases your chances of overcoming illness or other unfavourable things? Perhaps statistics can prove prayer useless.
I keep praying that I won't be affected by male-pattern baldness; unfortunately God doesn't seem to be listening.
