JetsGo Airlines..Gone Belly Up.`!!

Apparently, they went belly up, and their starting to using their booths as hotdog stands...LOL. , so whomever has tickets are coming back with Jetsgo..tickets are gozo unless, somehow you can get the cash-ola from Transport Canada to reimburse you...Just a heads up. March break is gonna suck for many ppl.

and they are currently holding all their plains on spot at pearson...
but i'm sure a large lawsuit is gonna hapen against them and you will get your money back eventualy, till then though other airlines are trying to get them on other plains but for the few i guess they are stuck here in sh|tty snow conditions...

For March Break, shop at IKEA, why? Because it is closer than Florida.

Bastards. They've been selling off flights for cheap for the past couple of months just trying to pull in as much money as possible. Glad I passed because I'd be $300 in the hole to them if I'd booked.

haha I thought that was illegal to sell tickets when you know you'll fold.

besides, those are a liability which *should* be paid off after the assets are liquidated.

well if the company declares for bankruptcy then no one is gettin ****.

or they can do what major companies in the states do and declare for chapter 11 bankruptcy where the company still remains but a gov't placed management team tries to bring the company back on its feet for the first 3 years and until then no creditors will bother then nor will they have to pay it for a very long time.

no fualt of ticket purchasers, if i was planning on going away would definitly be looking at a discount airline to get the cheaped flight. However its not like this couldnt be seen coming down the pipeline...was simply a matter of time..though a very inopportune time at that. Shall now see how it plays out

A couple days I think.

They way I look at it, since I'm staying put anyways, is that all the girlies will now be trapped in Toronto for the break.

damn...i am in the hole for 2 round trips to California...
Purchased through a travel agency, so we'll get our money reimbursed through the thingy...but if you purchased tickets elsewhere like the net...you are screwed.

Just a headsup...VISA and Mastercard aren't doing chargebacks either.

I HATE YOU JETSGO!

^ Air Canada is not involved with how Jetsgo runs it's business.
My buddy works from Air Canada called me this morning, got a chuckle about it b/c I almost booked a lfight frmo Jetsgo.
What sucks the most is there's about 17k people stranded wherever they are.
They're gonna be in for a shock when they're at the airport and find they ahve no plane to go home on.
