but i think that if u dont have to be there in IRAQ dont go, if u want to be a missionary or help out, it sounds nice that u are willing to do your best to help rebuild, but people are getting captured and excuted for ransom!
its not worth it...
at work they asked me what i thought about the 4 canadians captured...
tell you the truth, they will be executed!
as rough as it seems and harsh that i feel this way... but its the truth!
its sickening... but when will people understand!

You all seem to forget that in war there are no rules..
What would we as Canadians do if invaded by a superpower??
I for one would not give a FRUCK about what some politicians decided for me was a fair way to engage the enemy.

but this isnt a real war, this is an invasion and an occupation being fought against civillian insurgents, not an organized army, so there are no rules in iraq

I completely agree a super power invades canada and you bet that most canadians would eb no holds bars gorrilla terrorists as we'd be labeled by the media of the super power for our own people we'd be freedom fighters....

hummmmm. Well heres how i look at it. The plan was to rid iraq of saddam and bring in democracy (and does democracy really work anyway?). All the guy was doing was spreading the word of jesus, which i think is of course a bad idea. Why try to force your religion on another county that has followed the same beliefs for years, and years, and years..does the religion really do anything for them? how would it make things better?.
what im saying is the guy shouldnt have been in Iraq for that reason (nor should anyone)...and even though i dont agree with him being there, my prayers are with the family because no one should die for what hes doing.
