haha as fun as u might think it sounds its pretty lame .. i work in a call center environment for starters.. i do blackberry/Pda support for T-Mobile (Hence All calls inbound from USA) i do anything from setting up email accounts for customers blackberry's to troubleshooting GPRS internet connections on PDAs (Treo 600 / iPAQ 6315) ...

Convo's ... Ron Artest bascially took his wifes better blackberry and wanted to switch his email from his old blackberry to his now "newer" blackberry .. hes very illiterate to tech things apparently i had to repeat myself numorus times lol ... "goto options .. NO NO Options"

oh and that ben clymer dude .. he had just bought a 7100t (blackberry) and hated it so he juss called in to get his service switched back to his old 7230 blackberry ....

it might sound "cool" but do it for 1yr straight and u would wanna die ..

Arite next up .. a few months back i was suprised to take a call from a female who was authorized to access an account under "Goldmine Records" im like hmm odd .. so i take the call and its a blackberry issue .. customer needed her data resumed as it had been down for a few hours ... so i think arite simple enuff .. so im makin small chat while workin in the system .. she mentions her name "melissa" ... i was speaking to Missy Elliot .. seems like she was trying to get her service restored during her travelling that she was doing during the taping of her (now finished) reality show.. that was kinna cool i thought ..

haha ya when dealing with blackberries your dealing with (mostly) corprate ppl who think they are all high and mighty "do u realize how important this is" or the oh so famous "i run my own business i need this thing to work" lol i feel sorry for you if your business runs off of a PDA or a blacberry .. but anyways ... ya u learn to just blow off stupid **** that customers tell u .. my favorite was one time a customer said i didnt know what i was talkin about and i said very calm and politely sir if you doubt tmobiles tech knowledge would you be calling us for support .. and soon after got his issue fixed (those are the best) forget getting mad get back at em by fixing the issue and just sittin there saying "have i addressed all your concerns" lol gotta luv it...

coming later on today : the very popular Paris Hilton "Incident"

so im sure by now you've all heard about Paris's Sidekick (many new stories say blackberry) but it was infact a sidekick .. her "desktop interface" (online access to your handheld) was "hacked" which we now @ T-Mobile believe was internal and we have gone thru extensive meetings/sessions about customer confidentialty and blah blah ... thanks Paris lol .. but ya when i first heard about Paris's SK getting hacked i laffed then stopped then laffed some mo' .. hehe she had soo much info on her device (did anyone see the info) pics for daysssssss ... luckily ive never dealt with her account so im not a suspect hehe more Celebrity Corner after this brief message

ya besides the fact that its a call center its not bad .. i mean i luv pcs so i dont mind the troubleshoting .. i just dont understand why we get stupid stupid calls .. like for instance i just had this old woman call (her accnt said she was 67) and she had just obtained an ipaq ... now .. 1. WTF 2.ummmm WTF .. this woman did not know the 1st thing about the brick she was holding .. i had to tell her everything from turning the device on to finding the slot where the stylus goes .. i was tellin a co worker of mine T-moible and all carrirers in the case should have a licencing system setup so customers have to do some sort of research on what they are buying ... none of this "oh ill just buy it and call in and have them do everything for me" no lady NO lady its called the manual thats what its in the box for ...

Well, I actually got the "where is the any key?" question more than once. But the all time stupidest question I ever got was "Why can't you help me? Well, yes I know I have a Cannon printer but they CHARGE for their tech support!"
