is TCC now FULL of flakes?????????

the whole time i have been a member of this site i have never been messed around as much as i have in the last two months

i've had people call to meet then never show
i've gone out of my way for parts not as stated(aka crap!)
i've had people tell me they will pick up parts then never anwser there phone

if your not going to sell product in the condition you stated....dont sell

if your not going to buy **** dont say you will then hide from me


i know we have all come into bad deals/ sketchy people/ and when it came to buying didnt have the money, but please DONT **** PEOPLE AROUND I'M SO ****ING SICK OF IT


sorry i'm bitter i just didnt think TCC had people like this(well at least as much anyways


i dunno why but i'm giving these people a week then i will post there names in the beware section

I'm new to TCC but have been on Club eL for quite awhile but the short time I've been here I've run across a few flakes myself.

I just thought that's how you TCC guys roll.

Actually the same people have been running this site for years. When there are as many people on a site as we have you are going to get all kinds of people, good and bad. There really isn't much we can do as long as no rules or real world laws are broken. The only advice I have is try and read teh feedback forum before dealing with some one, It is not the perfect answer but at the moment it is the best we can offer.

I really don't post stuff for sale on the TCC anymore. I just got tired of holding stuff for people that end up being a no show, etc.

so far i've been lucky dealing with people here, everyone has been good buyers/sellers..no flakers at all!

as for the things not being as they stated i look at it this way...if a guy is selling a motor cheap and has 1 post..i would think twice about contacting him

also in descriptions you can really tell how much people know about what they're selling, like if you're selling a full interior or body panels and completely leave out the colour or condition..its probably crap..or selling a car i've seen "yeah im selling a 99 SiR and its red, call me at 555-5555" = crap

It's funny, I had to sell a few of my belongings to pay for school. I posted up a capacitor on this forum, and I posted up a cheap guitar on a local college board (near my house).

This one ******* kept calling my house and telling me he was interested in the guitar. He said he would come by after he was done college one day. He would call me an hour before the time we planned to meet, and re-schedule it for the next day. He never showed up!

Why is this a significant story?

I found out he was the exact same ******* on the TCC forum(from Hamilton) who was PMing about the capacitor I had for sale.

So, as you can see by my problem. There are a few people out there with nothing better to do than "tire-kick". It is probably the same losers, all the time, that ruin it for everyone.

The one time he called me to talk about the guitar, he was driving around, and just through conversation I found out his girlfriend was also in the car. Basically, this guy was being "Mr. Cool" in front of his GF.

"Hey look at me! I am driving around with a cell phone talking business, girlfriend has to sit and listen to me blab!"

i've been racist to newbies since i started selling things on here hahaha..if im selling/buying something i'll usually lean toward someone with a higher post count..or whoever makes the most sense out of their pm's...for example, if im selling some rims and i get a pm with a person giving me their number then telling me to call them..nah..ill give you my # and you call me if you're serious

its an unfortunate truth that a lot of people just come on here to unload their garbage..some even think their **** is still worth a million dollars too haha

yea so i just called this guy AGAIN from a different number this time seeing as he wont anwser any of the other numbers i have called him from( my cell my work my house)
