Thanks for the negative TCC opinions/thoughts...
I'll post back when I bring the car over teh border ! I will be driving the car with Michigan plates, then mailing his plates back...

Technically robm3 temp plates can be issued if the car is insured. Ownership doesnt matter at that point..
For instance my father purchased a austin mini, it was bought in fla, and we trailered it home, we went to the License Office when we got it back and they issued us a Temp plate, 1. because we held the ownership (even though it was a US ownership - which was still in the old owners name) 2. We had insurance inplace, which we where able to prove with an valid insurance slip.
Once we got the car safety'd ( we went back and the car was then transfered in our name)
No way in hell that they will let you accross the border with someone else's plates on the vehicle. Unless that person drives it across.
Get the vasoline ready cause they will search you well.

Rob, people are just trying to help, even though you have came up with the wildest dream of purchasing some of the nicer cars, but you don't see people telling you not to buy? But you are the one who kept on talking getting crazy cars but still ends up with another rex.

Well, after 8 hours in total of driving, the crx is safe + sound in my garage ! No problems getting it over the border !
All I have to do now is federalize it with Canadian Tire...

There are some very minor blrmishes on the paint that will get fixed immediatly !
Its gonna get lowered again and look exactly like this again !
The engine bay and interior are amazingly clean !
The only thing I wasnt impressed with throught the day was teh city of Flint Michigan ! What a crappy place to live !
