I have never used Kazaa, but thats strange, why did they block software all of a sudden. Im sure an older version has the search feature.

what version of kazaa do you have it keeps asking me to update but im afraid its gonna screw up everything

Normally, you should have the choice to update any program. If you click no, it shouldn't affect the program.

Ya whats the deal with kazaa lite k++ v2.5+ is it not free to download anymore? My bro was trying to get it but I think theyre charging ppl to use it now or something.

Dont matter to me tho, cause I dont use kazaa to download stuff anyhow. Newsgroups are mine. You can also try eMule theres lots of crap on it, just need a good server.

ya but irc is pointless for most cause it woudl be impossible to understand for a newb...I never took the tiem to use it but saw frieds and it looked to complicated and I'm a lazy guy...it seemed stupid adn hard and I even was takign computer systems technology at the time...

What I read was that Kazza sued KazaaLite for copyright infringement or something and shut them down. But different sites say different things, so I don't know what really happened. But like PULOVR said, just use a version prior to 2.5

i used kaaza before i formatted, it installed that stupid p2p and all that, i uninstaled that, still worked, but it had that Gain Publishing adware, and Gator crap, erase that and it stoped working, i remeber gmt.exe and CSgmt.exe or somthing like that always open in my task manager... damn kaaza
