Check out tigerdirect. http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=1786&Nav=|c:38|&Sort=0&Recs =10

Ive been using this one for almost two years now: http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=TCG650

Its a pretty good backpack and its not that pricey, ~$80.00.

definitely north face. i've had mine for about 6 years and counting. i have a few other friends who also have north face laptop backpacks and swear by them. i think there's a lifetime warranty, but don't quote me on that. i paid about $120 for mine. i take it along everywhere, even if i'm not bringing along my laptop. it's super sturdy and has those reinforcement straps.

Targus backpack or shoulder bag?

I had the shoulder bag when I went there, it was great, light small, well built, durable...

my buddy had the Targus backpack, it was crap, ya it was well built, but it weight a lot with NOTHING in it...
