Laptop latch conundrum...

Any help most appreciated.

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop. Love it. Closing latch broke! The tiny little doohickey on top of the tiny pic! Sourced one thru a Toshiba partner, Nexxlink. 16 bux for a tiny bit of plastic!

Anyway, Nexxlink want 75 bux to put this in!!! I was pleasant on the phone and thought after 16 bux, he might just say drop it off, I'll throw it on for you. Customer service...no deal. So, near 100 for a laptop latch.

Does anybody here know how to do it? Anybody got the right tool

I can bring it to the meet tonite, if somebody wants to have a crack...

Thanks very much. Again!

Actually, I don't think it needs a special tool. Just a screwdriver.

Maybe I'll bring it tonite and some of the guys can have a looksee...

Geez, I just took out 300 to buy your Gamecube for Matthew.

No way now for your horrible, unfunny, miserable, sarcastic, cynical, poorly-written post...

I'm crying over here over my broken latch...

Thanks Young Man!

I'll let the Maestro (Aaron) have a crack tonite. If we can't get it on (!!!), I'll bring it on Friday.

I noticed you were going to be absent tonite. Too bad...

See you Friday, anyhow...
