My buddy got it done a few weeks ago (so he could become a cop), he gets the halo/starburst effect at night. He had it done in one eye I believe, cause one was fine and the other was out of whack, he had no peripheral vision. So when he got the surgery, his vision was pretty blurry cause his brain wasnt used to using the now fixed eye.

the worst thing is when u drive and drink sum coffee and the coffee sort of splash to ur glasses.
good luck with the laser surgery, tell all of us when u have it done.

I love wearing glasses ever since I was in junior high. They make my face more completed. I had to borrow other people's glasses and wear them for an extensive time so I started to get near sight.
Mine are 350/250 I think.

Nova, lol u tried to make your eyes bad? dang...
i wish i didn't have to wear glasses/contacts but now with these contacts that u can sleep in (30 days/30 nights) i dont' really feel the hassle anymore, dont' have to take them out at night, put them in first thing in the morning... i just wanna wait until the chance of the surgery messing up is really really small
i know two ppl that got messed up with it.. and that's two too many in my books as much as i hate glasses i'd hate to have f*cked up vision for the rest of my life

I was around -8.00 and an ultra-nerd before I got it fixed. After the operation, I backpacked through Europe and started going big on my snowboard (check the avatar). I have a little night vision loss as expected, but it's worth it. I'm also just a regular geek now.

yeah in the new lenses you sleep with them in... they breathe hella better than normal ones
but I'm on here posting all the time, so my eyes would dry out much faster if i wore contact. I wear my glasses 95% of the time and I kinda like it.

yeah you can sleep in them, just like bbarbulo said, the plastic or whatever they're made of breathes so well, so they don't go all gross on you like normal ones when u sleep in them..
ya u can put them in april 1st and take them out may 1st, your doctor will reccomend taking them out every week, or so.. i do every two or three.. and just like with any other contacts u can stretch out the wear a bit... you don't feel them at all, and it makes life so much simpler... they get two thumbs up in my books!
