Choose- Pay $40 or loose your licence....which one would you do?

I have a brochure on street racing. What they said about NOS is BS.

"Nitrous Oxide adds up to 400hp and can accelerate a vehice to 200km in seconds"

Who the **** wrote this in PACER brochures? Durham cops?

Transport Minister Norm and the PACER program is stupid.
LOL

I wish I still had the article that my friend wrote about nos......I'll see if he still has it.

So does this mean we will get in trouble for using this too......

94 ultra = illegal

Why?
Fact number one. Octane can enhance engine performance.* And there's no higher octane on the street than Sunoco Ultra 94.

Fact number two. Sulphur in gas contributes to smog. And while government standards allow up to 1000 parts per million sulphur in gas, Sunoco Ultra 94 contains less than 100 parts per million.

The facts add up to one simple truth: for guilt-free performance, nothing beats Sunoco Ultra 94.
LOL

If they want to get technical, we can get in **** for using Ultra 94.

Next they're going to tells that removing the sound insulation and carpeting would be considered a mod......less weight = faster car.

Go ahead and laugh........all the fredoms we enjoy, are slowly being stripped from us, one item at a time.

Now who on the board likes to race? Your attitude about street racing is what put this ball in motiion.

From now on, anyone I see or hear that aproves of street racing, I'm going to nickname them "BILLY". (you know why)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.....the line on the left is to pay for stupid tickets.........whats that? Yea, I know the line is really long.

Almost 5 am.........I'm done ranting.

Be careful what you wish for.....

I don't support street racing, but when you give powers to people who already have a slanted view towards a certain group of cars, your stance has given them the power to royally screw up things if they 'think' you were.
I was talking for a true street race, when people go to the back of buildings and set there cars up in front of on lookers and drag. If it were on the normal street we would all be screwed soon.

Unfortunately we all know how the law would be written.....and giving that kind of power to one individual in a cruiser is not in the best interest of society...... Although most are above board there is always a few that would abuse that power

Has it come down to this????

I was at my mechanics yesterday because of a STUPID flat tire and while I was waiting......you know how you just kinda stare around the room.....something caught my eye.....it was a brochure by CAA about street racing. Well, as you can imagine, my curiousity got the best of me and I decided to read it. PARENTS....be careful, if you feel that your teenager is modifying your or their car....talk to them, make sure that they aren't doing anything illegal....YOUR insurance can go up in the event of a crash.....this is a picture of a NOS bottle *insert pic here* it is ILLEGAL to have this......did you know that *insert statistical number here* deaths have occurred because of street racing?....BLAH BLAH BLAH
OK, street racing is a very touchy subject at the very least, and I refuse to take sides, because well, I am in the middle.....I won't say that I have/do race, and I won't say that I have not/don't race......but I mean.....you have morons who race and morons who don't race, and trust me, if you just target certain vehicles or vehicle modifications, you are not getting rid of the morons......and I think that racing has been blown out of preportion in the last little while because of certain movies.....with really cute guys in it...ooops, did I say that?......ok, back on track....racing and performance modifications have been around for a long time.....why is it that just now that they feel that it is soooo wrong and out of control that they have to create programs...brochures...ads etc? Not to mention, they quote soooo many stats on street racing....but never tend to compare them to crashes/deaths/injuries cause by morons driving normally????? Ok, I am finished for now...I have lots of other stuff to say, but damn....you must be tired of reading it.

This is so retarded most of you guys say i dont support street racing. Street Racers dont care man,you say take the car on the TRACK wtf do you think they care do you actually think they gonna go all the way to cayuga just to run their car. There is stupid people that race in traffic and there is the smart guys that go to areas that are not populated. Its their problem if they wanna race you cant stop street racing it will be always there.

Anyone serious would race at the track not on the street.

Whats going to happen is a mis-understanding of the vechicle impondment and NOS. Everytime your pulled over now your going to be serched for nos. Cops think if your cars modified, your a street racer. There going to pull you over and say you were racing, then your cars gone...What can you do???NOTHING. You could have accelerated too fast and he saw it as "racing".

NOS wont be illegal at the track, so I geuss you have to take your kit apart and put it in a paper bag, then drive to the track, hook it up and use it???

When will the govt. realize that the only way to cut down on racing is to make a track in the gta...
Who's going to drive for 2 hrs to drive their car for 45-60seconds?

in my opinion the guys that go in the deserted streets and industrial areas that are free from workers and free of traffic, who sit there and make sure that there is no one on the street before they run, side by side, on a road that fits 5 cars side by side easily, have my support. it's the stupid (can i say that word here) kids with their moms car that race through traffic and at red lights with way to many blind spots and no control should be the ones that get pulled over. if the gov said that this area in sanctioned for street racing and that you can run your cars here for $5 a car/ night then sure, insurance won't cover you and you can go nuts. open road, crusers on both end, 1 km long, two parking lots wide, and a Tim Hortins.
