i think they played well enough to win. they just cant finish on their chances! especially hoglund and sundin! if they had gotten just one goal it would've been an entirely different game. once carolina gets the lead they just sit back and play that trap.
leafs could tighten up on D a little more. but honestly, they dont have the talent in their defencemen to do it. i mean with erikkson, lumme and berg?? those guys are all trash. mccabe looks like he's running out of gas too.
but ultimately the difference in this entire series is just a bounce or two. leafs could've just as easily swept the canes 4-0 if they capitalized on their chances and got some more bounces their way.
doesnt look good now though. down 3-1 and without home ice advantage. it's going to take a miracle now!

i have faith... but **** man.. its over....
defense was ****... why there would be 2 .. not just 1 .. but 2 canes if front of our net.. just waiting.. whats that ****?
passing was horrible and i hate to say it but the canes just played better... and man o man.. irbe is the ****...

They didn't play that badly last night and got some great chances, the major problem was that Irbe was on fire last night. 
They could also clean up some of their passing, I saw way to many sloppy passes last night.
Anyways, hopefully they can win on Saturday.

Unfortunately I think the Canes are fired up, and if Irbe plays the way he has been, bad news for the Leafs. Leafs need to score early in this one to take the crowd out of it.

Well they are in a do or die situation now and quite a lot of folks work well under pressure.
Those who predicted Leafs in 7 were either right on the ball or just extremely lucky.
We'll just have to see how it goes.
