plus 80% of the time, they dont even care if someone is trying to open a car, or how many times have you questioned a person when a car alarm is going off and the person is doing something with a car. every mind their own business and thinks maybe it was an accidental that guy pressed a wrong button on the remote, or accidentally hit the car, but in fact someone is trying to see the security on the car and work on their stealing strategy.

They might not do it that day, might not do it the next day, maybe do it the day after who knows. all I know is public places are the worse places come to stealing cars.

Go station
Cinema halls
Malls
Underground parking (hospital, office, shopping etc…)
Sad, but true! A good many of the stories I've heard about stolen cars or contents of cars, generally speaking, happened during broad daylight and in public places.

My buddy's first car was broken into and they stole his deck. It didn't work and was total chit that they actually brought it back the next day and placed it next to his car. Haha gotta love Hamilton.

That cannot be a true story, it's too bizarre--talk about strange and astonishing behaviour! Mind you, it is Hamilton...

Good anecdote.

i woke up one night and yelled out my window at someone who was rumaging through all the stuff in my parent's caravan...

i yelled at the guy and he nearly **** his pants because he couldn't figure out where my yell was coming from. He went running down my street.

I heard him gasp for air, and he just started running. He looked like a real loser. probably a crack-head

It is absolutely mind boggling when, where and what thieves will break into. My girlfriend's EG for example, looks like it has survived multiple demolishing derbies. Yet, even with an alarm people have attempted illegal entries multiple times.

There is no tint; no cargo cover and all interior contents are clearly exposed. Aside from a plastic thermos mug, there is nothing of value in this car. Still they persist. We live in a very nice area where homes value upwards of half a million dollars and harbour a wide variety of the "elite."

They have attempted once at home, twice before at York University and once at a gym. She did at one point many years ago have a small 10" sub in her trunk, which was cleverly hidden away.

My old integra on the other hand, had rims, was fully tinted, had a full sound system, which I blasted on a daily basis and was parked in the heart of Scarborough. It however was never, ever touched.

Go Figure…

My brothers civic got broken into 3times at the ttc parking station...the 1st time, they took his deck, amp and his Ray Ban sunglasses and about 40cds in a case. The 2nd time they broke into it, they only took a old grease stained jacket. And the 3rd time they broke into it, they got caught. When my brother went to court, he saw the two guys and found out where they live now. His car has been also attempted of a break in about a couple of times also cause of his dents around his door handle and sunroof from some screw driver. If i ever catch a theif breaking into my car, ill end up in jail.

i've had my deck stolen, i wasn't too pissed cause they didn't damage my car at all and i didn't drive it.

i did go to all the highschool kids i knew and ask if they could find me a sony CD player for my car hoping to get mine back and smashing the kids face in.
